Learn how Queens Public Library established a Civic Engagement department to develop a generation of community champions with the knowledge, skills, empathy, and compassion to serve the needs of others. Our multifaceted approach allows individuals to participate in meaningful opportunities that promote service through action, education, and awareness.

This session is open to all member library directors and staff. This event will not be recorded.

Presenter
Jerrie Grantham is the Assistant Director of Civic Engagement at Queens Public Library. As a dedicated library worker, Jerrie has helped to foster a welcoming space for all voices to be heard. Passionate about literacy and access to information, Jerrie collaborates with community members to provide resources and support for underrepresented populations, empowering them to engage fully with library services.
